Our Mission
To make music accessible to young people through musical training, innovative community outreach and continually developing arts-in-education programs.
Our Goal is...
- To develop an identity for the Veta Louise Morriel Arts & Leadership Academy in the metroplex.
- To train outstanding students to become accomplished musicians and leaders by offering a diverse musical curriculum.
- To sustain a roster of professional and talented teachers, musicians and guest artists.
- To provide students with tuition assistance, instruments and resources that would enable them to participate in any of the local performing youth groups such as Strings of Color, Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra, Community Chorus & Band.
- To provide students with a range of student services including artistic advisement, guidance counseling, college scholarships as well as cultural exposure.
